My mom called tonight. My aunt Laura and her family live in South Pasadena, CA. So far, they are safe, but have been told to be ready to evacuate at anytime. Keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Hi Amy, this is your Aunt Laura. Thanks for your note about us on your blog, and the request for prayers. We are all fine and never had to evacuate. I did have friends who had to evacuate but they all were able to go back to their homes and everything was OK. Now the concern is flooding/mudslides as we are expecting some rain (which is BADLY needed) BUT if it comes down too hard in the burn areas there will be mudslides.
